About Peg and Pat

Peggy Benton was a person to whom higher mathematics was a form of recreation. During her life she seriously studied math, psychology, acting, and body movement. Those who watched enjoyed her smooth interpretation of Tai-Chi. Her career included child-care teaching and administration of the Children’s Center Division of the Los Angeles Public School system. Her various interests led her to develop the thoughts concerning life, intelligence, and human behavior which are recorded here. Peggy was born in 1919 and resided for most of her life in California until her death in 2003.

Pat Regdon loves to talk. In fact languages became her main occupation and employment. In addition to this she also developed theories concerning life and the evolutionary process by which all beings come to think and act. Possessed of a dynamic, creative personality, she has developed the Amoeba Paradigm theory with passion over a period of some 46 years. During this time she also developed a course in accent correction for persons to whom English is a second language. Born in 1922, her career has taken her to New York, Germany, Washington, DC, and finally California.

Peggy and Pat are sisters. They did not collaborate on any of this material, and Pat was not aware of how closely their thoughts were linked until she began reading Peg’s journals after her death.

These bios were written by Peg and Pat’s disrespectful younger brother, Terry, and his equally disrespectful wife, Jan.
